If a guy's been going out with a girl for a solid year, does he HAVE TO buy her an anniversary gift? Or, is

this just something that girls do because you like to shop and give things to people? I don%26#039;t expect her to give me anything and would actually feel weird if she did...especially if it%26#039;s something stupid like flowers. Is the guy a jerk if he doesn%26#039;t get her a gift?

If a guy%26#039;s been going out with a girl for a solid year, does he HAVE TO buy her an anniversary gift? Or, is
No you don%26#039;t have to buy her a anniversary gift.....It would be very romantic of you to do so....It would let your girl know that she is someone special to you and is appreciate by you.....This kind of thing is important to a girl.....You are right about it being some thing girls do......We give gifts to show our appreciation.......
Reply:well if the girl give the guy a gift. then yeah that is kind of being a jerk cuz she got him a gift and he didnt. but if she didnt give him a gift then u dont have to give her a gift if u dont want to. but it all depends on how u celebrate ur aniversery, my bf gets me a gift and i give him a gift so it really isnt weird. so yeah it would be weird if u dont get her gift in ur own way.
Reply:I say yes, unless she really knows you really well. If she%26#039;s not expecting anything from you I think you should get something small like some flowers and a card or something simple and sweet. If you think she is expecting you to get her something it would be harder so, you might want to take that small simple gift and stretch it out a little more like add a stuffed animal and take her out to dinner and well waste a little more money. LOL = %26gt;
Reply:it%26#039;ll be a proof that she means a lot to u... so stop thinkin..rush to the shop take her something sweet that she%26#039;ll keep as a treasure... n your reward will be the look of happiness on her face when she%26#039;ll realise that u haven%26#039;t forgotten that special date...

best of luck...
Reply:He does NOT HAVE TO!!!, but women really appreciate a recognition of yearly anniversaries. In there eyes its %26quot;a deeply loving gesture%26quot; Enjoy the day.
Reply:my bf didnt we were fighting at the time lol, but i think its a really nice gesture, make or buy her a card telling how special she is, its always nice and give her a bunch of flowers. shel feel loved and y woldnt u want ur gf to feel that way. it doesnt cost u much so y not make sure she knows how u feel
Reply:get a card or take her for dinner or a drink insted
Reply:Have to, No, no one should feel compelled to do things that is not from their heart. But IF you want her to continue feeling special then it would be a very nice touch to get her a gift to celebrate how long you have been dating. And she might not get you a gift but some type of gesture is always appropriate to remind people of just how unique they are to us. I hope this helps

What would you do if your boyfriend or girlfriend did not get you a special gift for your 1 year anniversary?

Well 1 year was just yesterday. I spend $50-75 and went all over get his gift. He just treated me to dinner and appoligied for not finding anything to get me yet. Looked one place last minute for flowers. Also he said I would have to wait til Saturday. I acted sad ,but did not want to start an arguement on this special day.It acted like 1 year was a big deal to him cuase he never had that long of reltionships and ours was going good. What would you do if you were in this situation? actions? words?

What would you do if your boyfriend or girlfriend did not get you a special gift for your 1 year anniversary?
you should be lucky he remembered
Reply:Just be patient, like you said, a relationship this long is new to him. Keep making each milestone a special event and he will catch on.
Reply:nothing just go with the flow
Reply:Well at least he took you out to dinner and got you flower%26#039;s.

He didn%26#039;t forget right? . Give the guy some credit for that one.

Maybe he%26#039;s just trying to find that perfect gift,

instead of rushing into it and buying you something cheap

Give him time, hint him on what you like.

Hope you get something nice. : )
Reply:As long as he shagged you as well i don%26#039;t see a problem.
Reply:Honestly, It wouldnot really matter if my girlfriend didnt get me anything for our aniversary because the improtant ting is that i still hav her. and that%26#039;s the greatest gift for me.
Reply:nothing to do ,, but i will not give them any gift any more ,,

that is all..

Reply:He probably have something romantic and special for you that%26#039;s why he told you to wait until Saturday, and the dinner was just the beginning. Be patient; at least he remembered the anniversary.
Reply:I%26#039;d be keepin the pimpette hand strong
Reply:Why does it matter whether or not he bought you something? Gifts should never be thought of symbols of love, especially gifts given on premediated holidays. The way he treats you should always be more than enough.
Reply:wait and see if he makes it up to you...men are forgetful....why didnt you remind him it was coming up anyways....you should of known better.
Reply:I think some guys just don%26#039;t realize the importance of %26quot;gifts.%26quot; I have been with my guy for 6 years, and he has never really bought me a gift, just taken me out to dinner. I usually get mad about it, but I know he loves me.....must just be a gene they%26#039;re missing. You should definitely tell him that the thought (gifts) means a lot to you and see what happens next time.
Reply:Guys are stupid sometimes.

Give him time to get a present. Tell him specifically that you%26#039;re %26quot;looking forward%26quot; to Saturday.

Praise anything he gives you even if you don%26#039;t like it.
Reply:There is nothing you should do about this specifically. It is however an indication that maybe he isn%26#039;t as excited about being with you as he should be. Give him some more time, and if it seems that your dates have become routing and he%26#039;s lost all sense of romance then maybe you should get rid of him. At that point, the only reason for him to be with you is because he prefers having a girl around than being alone with other guys.
Reply:He feels bad ... Atleast he took you out, and is putting forth effort... My bf is bad to buy me gifts.. I would have to go w/ him or tell him what I want... S, don%26#039;t feel bad... The best way to celebrate an anniversary is to just spend time together. GIfts, Atleast to me, aren%26#039;t much.. as long as he%26#039;s there... that%26#039;s what matters
Reply:id make sure that its clear why he didnt do it. If he didnt have the money, he should have planned, but thats a forgiveable thing.

but if he straight up forgot, which happens a lot, its not forgivable.

i would ask him if you two could talk, and start up by explaining how the anniversary was very special for you, and you feel like he didnt plan and remember it.

then explain how you were hurt and if he reacts like a jerk, break up with him. he should not act immature when approached with something he did wrong.

i would not act bitchy or mean, just be honest and very calm.

you should not tell him what to get you, or babysit and remind him. hes a big boy. and youre not a gold digger, youre a girl. you like special surprises and presents because it shows that hes still into impressing you and making you feel special.

if he doesnt have the money, then its ok, he can show you in other ways.

but lets be honest. he should have thought about it and gotten you something.
Reply:you are sooooooooooo shallow!!! ALL YOU WANT IS GIFTS???

dump him, he%26#039;s better off without an obvious golddigger!!!

if gifts are all you want, get yourself a rich sugar daddy... relationships aren%26#039;t about the price of gifts, they are about the love shared!!! you need to lighten up!!!
Reply:appoligied= no known definition

you need to kick him to the curb!! and you should do it on a talk show such as jerry springer or oprah. take it all the way, he needs to be humiliated on national television, better yet challenge him to a spelling bee
Reply:Evaluate what%26#039;s more important. Your anniversary or your entire relationship. He took you out to dinner. Give him a chance to surprise you with flowers or a gift on Saturday. My husband is a dispatcher for an ambulance service and usually has to work all of the holidays and anniversaries. We rarely celebrate things on the day you%26#039;re supposed to. Being with him is more important that what he buys me. Also, men need to know (not be hinted to) on what to do in these types of situations. Because of our budget, for my birthday, I told my husband to get me a small bouquet of flowers (not roses, too expensive) and a nice card, nothing else. He liked not having to guess and knew I would be happy.
Reply:love isnt about special gifts my friend!

learn to love with ur hearts
Reply:he%26#039;s a guy. we don%26#039;t care about anniversaries. I%26#039;m sure he%26#039;s sorry but we don%26#039;t think about things like that. flowers are very thoughtful though
Reply:I wouldn%26#039;t be bother, but then again a guy I dated used to hold back my presents for punishment, he would say I didn%26#039;t deserve them,

Condoleeza Rice is coming to my hometown. What should we throw at her eggs or flowers?
I couldn%26#039;t possibly disagree more with her stance in most political issues, however, she is a representative of our government and she deserves our respect as such and as a human being. If you disagree you should voice your opinion in a manner that is both ethical and productive.

If she makes an appearance in New York, that would only be a politically motivated tactic. Wrong. Very wrong. For anyone.

What is a good gift for a 16 year old girl for a 3 month anniversary?

I know that 3 months isn%26#039;t that big of a deal, but I want to do something nice for her. We go out to dinner every once in awhile, so I don%26#039;t think that would do. I also get her flowers pretty often, so that might not be that great either. I was thinking earrings or something but I don%26#039;t want to go too over the top or anything. Any suggestions?

Thanks.

What is a good gift for a 16 year old girl for a 3 month anniversary?
I would think, a card well picked out to say how you feel or how being with her has impacted your life, with a few words of your own written in would be nice and not too expensive,You could possibly even follow up with taking her on a walk at a city waterfront or beach.
Reply:honestly, i think a heartfelt letter to her about how much you care about her and telling her all the things you like about her is much sweeter than anything money can buy.

Why is my beloved fiancee angry with me after I gave her flowers? Are some women just never happy?

Yesterday happened to be our 2nd anniversary of our first date. 2 years ago I took her with me to a dental appointment I had, and she was able to read a number of magazines while I had my filling put in. That was the beginning of a very romantic journey that has continued to this very day. :)

My beloved Megan (Mee-Gun, NOT May-Gun) is a jewel in the rough. In a world full of widgets, she is a sparkling diamond. She even works an extra job at night for a little extra income so that I can dedicate my free time to playing Madden %26#039;08. Trust me, that extra money she earns is going to buy her any wedding ring she can afford if I have my way!

So I sent her 7 yellow roses with a card to her workplace today. I sent along a beautiful card that read %26quot;Here. Love, Jacquot%26quot;.

Now she won%26#039;t talk to me! Normally this would be alright, as I need to concentrate on my Madden %26#039;08 game now that we are in the playoffs, but tonight I am hosting a couple from work for a dinner party.

What can I do to make this right? I need her to make her special spaghetti for dinner tonight. I%26#039;m up for a promotion!

Thanks :)

Why is my beloved fiancee angry with me after I gave her flowers? Are some women just never happy?
These people think you%26#039;re serious!!! lmao

You goof~!!

Next time just send her the bill for the flowers and throw the flowers away! That%26#039;ll teach her!

I hope you get that spaghetti and not another sandwich!
Reply:I don%26#039;t know why she%26#039;s mad, but this happen to us before, I wasn%26#039;t angry though, I told my husband never buy me cut roses, because they%26#039;re a wast of money. I rather him buy me something alive, also, the color yellow also means jealousy. Next time try a different color.
Reply:You are an idiot. You let her work all the time so you can slack and she has to buy her own wedding ring. No wonder she is mad at you for the flowers....it was probably her money that bought the dumb things.
Reply:you wrote %26quot;here.%26quot; thats why. You did not elaborate ot say happy 2nd annivarsary or aything to that effect so it made her feel like you had to do it, not because you wanted too.
Reply:you annoy me. I don%26#039;t know why. you just do.

Would you feel bad if your man didnt get you anything for your 2 year anniversary? 10 points?

Ok well believe me I know material items dont mean anything. But a card, flowers...something? I just felt bad.

Am I over reacting?

Would you feel bad if your man didnt get you anything for your 2 year anniversary? 10 points?
Been there, done that!!!! I felt badly too. How about for a Christmas present, he said that I didn%26#039;t have to reimburse him for a down payment we made on my teenage daughter%26#039;s car!!! Valentine%26#039;s, I didn%26#039;t get a card, dinner, nada. For my birthday, he never even remembered. Anniversary? What%26#039;s that? I feel your pain!

We were married almost 12 years, when we were supposed to be on the Dr Phil Show. It was because he was the most unromantic man in the world! That%26#039;s when my life changed. He decided 2 weeks before Christmas that he wanted a divorce instead. Needless to say we never went on the show... (I can laugh now. Not only did we miss the show, I found out that he had a mistress he met online. Guess he didn%26#039;t want Dr Phil to expose him on national TV? The show actually saved me!!!)

I%26#039;ve since met the love of my life %26amp; am happier than I ever imagined! He%26#039;s romantic, thoughtful, surprises me with flowers, hidden cards, candy, etc. etc. Makes up for the many special days I spent crying.

Let him know how you feel and just talk. Don%26#039;t get mad just let him know that you were upset. If nothing changes, you%26#039;ll have a lot of miserable days ahead. Get used to it or do something special for yourself. (Spend a lot of money on yourself %26amp; maybe he%26#039;ll decide he%26#039;d rather spend money on flowers instead?) Good luck. Lemme know how things turn out!
Reply:I probably would be upset just because sometimes there is no money to buy expensive stuff but a guy can at least come up with something fun that isn%26#039;t too expensive.

You know a card or a flower that he took from somebody%26#039;s garden. A dollar store gift that is cute.

I mean regardless of money being short your guy should still be able to make something special for you.

Was your anniversary today? If so then wait because he might be planning something and surprise you. If it was before then did he at least say happy anniversary?

If he just forgot or didn%26#039;t care to get you anything I would have a talk with him about it and tell him that wasn%26#039;t very cool of him.

Good luck :D
Reply:After 34 years of marriage, my husband and I discuss what we are going to do or get on Valentines Day, anniversary, Christmas, etc.. He knows I don%26#039;t like cut flowers, but for Valentines we usually buy a flower or shrub to plant in the yard. We usually take a trip to one of our special spots or get a joint gift together, not something meaningless, that way there are no hurt feelings.
Reply:Yes, I would be very upset, especially since my husband is one that always buy me flowers and little things he and there....so if he missed our anniversary, I would be very sad.
Reply:I would feel %26#039;%26#039;forgotten%26#039;%26#039; or that he forgot the date.

Which wouldn%26#039;t make me feel good.

Maybe he is planning a surprise?

Although, he should have got you a card.!!!!

Hint things to him

:P
Reply:maybe he thinks you don%26#039;t need it. Some guys over estimate us a bit. Sit ihm down and tlak about it. but yeah, i would have felt bad too.
Reply:No your not...I would be upset too that he didnt even try to put some thought bringing a smile to your face...Tell him how he made you feel and see if next time he will maybe try
Reply:DID HE EVEN TELL YOU HAPPY ANNIVERSARY????

I know it hurts, but as long as he said happy anniversary then... it%26#039;s ok I guess. I would still be LIVID though!!!
Reply:yeah that happened to me 2 one time. yea i felt bad to but somes guys are just like that. he prob didnt mean to hurt you
Reply:heck yes woman!

tell him staright up how you feel!
Reply:what did you do for him? or is the relationship just about you.
Reply:Guys don%26#039;t think about that stuff.
Reply:yeah i would without a doubt be upset.
Reply:he might be tricking you, so you let your guard down then he suprises you

Question for the ladies: What would you want to do on your one year anniversary with your boyfriend?

I don%26#039;t know what to do, but I want to make it extra special for my girlfriend. We actually haven%26#039;t reached 1 year yet, we%26#039;re actually at 11 months. But we were talking on the phone and she was all excited about the fact that we%26#039;ve been together almost a year. So far I%26#039;m working on a poem, and I%26#039;m probably gonna give it to her with some flowers (Another question, would you prefer a bouquet, or a single rose?)

I%26#039;m thinking about taking her to a movie, and most likely dinner at a restaurant (nothing fancy, she doesn%26#039;t really like when I spend too much on her. Maybe Sizzler%26#039;s or Chili%26#039;s or something). I%26#039;m sure she%26#039;d like a sit down restaurant, since we always go to fast food places lol

Anyone have any other suggestions for activities or anything?

Question for the ladies: What would you want to do on your one year anniversary with your boyfriend?
Well let me be the first to say Congratulations!!!!!!

All girls love flowers so it almost doesn%26#039;t matter what kind its the thought that counts. If you can find out her favorite that would be great though. What ever you do make sure she receives them publicly like at school or work no matter how bad her day might be going flowers at work will cheer her up because all the other girls will be jealous that her man is so thoughtful. That is gonna make your night go much better.

Can you cook? if you can it would be great if you could cook her favorite meal at home and rent her favorite movie and the two of you can just chill at the crib and enjoy each other. I bet she doesn%26#039;t really care what you do as long as you are together and you make her feel like you are really into her. That way you don%26#039;t have to spend a fortune but you will still have a great time . Or a walk in the park even when its cold is great because that almost guarantees cuddle time.

Good Luck!!
Reply:If it were me, I would go to the dinner first, that way you won%26#039;t have to spend as much at the theater on snacks/drinks. Next, I would take her to a place such as skating, or maybe bowling.

This way, you get romance/cuddle time. (At the movie.)

You get social time. (Restaurant/Dinner.)

You also get time to socialize more at the bowling alley/skating rink. By doing this, you can eat and talk, AND pick fun at each other with a little fun competition! That evening sounds quite romantic to me, and I%26#039;m sure she would agree.

Can%26#039;t help you with the flower issue, that is for a female%26#039;s opinion! Good luck, buddy!!

It was unbelievable, and it made me realize how much she cared for me.

Question for the ladies: What would you want to do on your one year anniversary with your boyfriend?
I would say if there is a nice park area or scenic area, if it%26#039;s not too chilly, a walk is nice. Or looking out at the stars and holding her. Watching movies even together and cuddling can be something special. It depends what your everyday things together are and what she likes to do. Just do what you think she would love to do, you%26#039;ve been with her that long, you should know her pretty well :)

good luck and happy anniversary!
Reply:Congratulations!!! Me and my bf are going to be month next month also!!! I think you guys should go out to dinner, doesn%26#039;t have to be fancy- even McDonalds can mean alot if you have heart and make it special, and as for the flowers, a single rose is perrrrrrfect! Good luck!
Reply:a single white or black rose is more romantic- it shows you thought about it instead of just getting the usual bouquet or red roses. take her to a nice restaurant, no chains(im not sure what you have in usa but sizzlers and chillis sound like burger king to me) a little family run italian place where you can share a pizza, where the atmosphere is warm and cosy. when you%26#039;re booking the table ask for a quiet one in a corner or away from others.

read her your poem after the mains and present her with a little gift- a necklace is good-silver(if she wears it) ask a mom or sister for help with choosing. share dessert.

after dinner, have your seats booked in the cinema so theres no waiting time and goto whatever she wants to watch(girls -other tham myself- generally pick sh ite films but you must endure in the name of love!)

after bring her for a coffee or drink(if your not a kid) and see where it goes from there!
Reply:go to a club or a dance or something and GRIND AND DIRTY DANCE then go to chili%26#039;s!
Reply:bouquet. one rose sounds cheep..

maybe a dozen roses, but not just one.

get her some kind of jewlery. a heart locket, or a ring. even a bracelet.
Reply:Go somewhere private and unexepted....like camping at the lake, just the two ouf you. Its not the most romantic place to think of but just the thought of being together counts and while you guys are there alone, you will remember , what about your indiviual personlaties brought yoyu guys together.
Reply:OMG if you wright her a poem thats like the sweetest thing ever and send her a boquet to work and give her 1 rose when you pick her up
Reply:Hmm.. I would want to go out with him someplace nice. Not necessarily expensive, but just some gesture to show he cares for me. Maybe a movie, dancing (?), and dinner. A little present would be nice too (: But nothing too extreme.

How to get present any day of the year not just birthday & anniversary?

Over breakfast one morning, a woman said to her husband, %26quot;I bet you don%26#039;t know what day this is.%26quot;

%26quot;Of course I do,%26quot; he indignantly answered, going out the door to the office.

At 10 AM, the doorbell rang, and when the woman opened the door, she was handed a box containing a dozen long stemmed red roses.

At 1 PM, a foil wrapped , two pound box of her favourite chocolates arrived. Later, a boutique delivered a designer dress. The woman couldn%26#039;t wait for her husband to come home.

%26quot;First, the flowers then the chocolates, and then the dress!%26quot; she exclaimed. %26quot;I%26#039;ve never had a more wonderful Groundhog Day in all my life!%26quot;

International Women's Day! Have you given flowers to any ladies today?

8th March is the anniversary of American women workers struggling for 8 hour%26#039;s work and equal pay. They shed their blood to obtain their rights.

International Women%26#039;s Day! Have you given flowers to any ladies today?
i put out a couple of vases of flowers every week for the girls at work --- do i qualify --- even if i inexcusably --- missed the occasion !!!?

What do you get for your bf on a 6 month anniversary?

We have been going out for 5 months almost 6 months. It will be 6 on the 24th of october. He always gets me flowers and cute stuff like that and i have no idea what to get him...?

What do you get for your bf on a 6 month anniversary?
Nothing because normal people celebrate anniversaries at atleast a one YEAR interval.
Reply:A nice shrit you would like to see him wear
Reply:get matching rings i did that with my boyfriend
Reply:I got my boyfriend nothing when we had been going out for 6 months, nor did i get anything or expected, personally i thought anniversaries were something you did every year not six months
Reply:etiquette says you can get him a nice card. It is %26quot;he%26quot; that is supposed to be pursuing you. It is not you that has to buy him things to keep him.
Reply:Nothing.... All we did was reminisce on our past and look forward to the future. But since he%26#039;s so kind and gets your stuff, get him something that is within a 50 dollar budget.
Reply:Not a damn thing...your only dating, stop with the anniversary gifts until you get married, then celebrate.
Reply:Get him a cool shirt with his favorite band on it or a cd you see guys need things they can use and like don%26#039;t use smells (perfume, aftershave etc) because it totally throws him off. A cell phone or a nice album I did that to my bf pic of him and I and he liked it.
Reply:If you don%26#039;t know about this in 6 mo. what are you going to do in 1 year?
Reply:Wow major coincidence. My one year anniversary is on October 24th. =]

Maybe make him like a nice card or some chocolate, something small but sweet.
Reply:a aftershave set! very classy!
Reply:erm nothing :s

its only been 6 months!

i thought anniversaries were yearly things, otherwise they aren%26#039;t really that special.
Reply:This should generate some good answers so keep it clean folks!
Reply:something small.... after this celebrate the years... it is really hard to get gifts every six months then also for birthdays, christmas, etc... but yeah something small but that shows you care
Reply:you should get him a sean john colon that **** is AWEOMEE

or

any type of colon ;)

a jersey of his favorite team

a hat

wallet

bracelet

something he is interesting in
Reply:How about a nice watch or a wallet? Or, if you want, a nice photo of the two of you in a frame would be nice.
Reply:you should really try making him something, so it came from your heart and not your wallet...my boyfriend loved it when i made him things...even if they look stupid, he%26#039;ll love it just becuase you took the time to make it....try making a scrapbook, or a list of reasons why you love him... well good luck and i hope he likes whatever you give him!
Reply:A card.

What should i get my wife for for our 6th month anniversary?

We have been married 6 months. She has all the clothes in the world and lots of jewlery already. I need other ideas. Are flowers and chocolates enough or maybe something else? I thought cause its only a 6 month i would try and keep it under $50.

What should i get my wife for for our 6th month anniversary?
I suggest that you write her a poem or even just simply a letter expressing what she means to you. Tell her how everyday you realize that marrying her was the best decision you ever made.
Reply:A dozen roses and a night out to dinner!
Reply:A postcard of some flowers. Paper is the traditional first anniversary gift. This is in line with that.
Reply:months? come on dude...lets do 6 months more before celebrating.
Reply:6 months? You have one of those women, huh?
Reply:I%26#039;m impressed you%26#039;re even getting her anything! But if she%26#039;s one of those women...

I%26#039;d say don%26#039;t do the spa thing, that%26#039;s a good 1 year gift. Stay simple so you can still out do yourself later!

Flowers and dinner will work.
Reply:just get her favorite flowers
Reply:Just remembering is a bonus in my book. I think a very special card (so she will have a keepsake) and a nice boquet of flowers will be enough.
Reply:Think, manicure, pedicure, massage, etc. Anything from the local spa would be a good idea.
Reply:DON%26#039;T GET HER ANYTHING. WAIT TILL THE ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY. Just enjoy being together. If you guys really want to be together %26quot;till death do us part%26quot; you don%26#039;t need to celebrate every six months.
Reply:Set up your house to look like a spa, you know mints on pillows, a massage table (it could be anything with blankets and towels) Then pamper her. Massage her and draw her a bath. Personally, 6 months is 6 months short, but have fun anyway.
Reply:I didn%26#039;t get anything for ours. I guess I really wasn%26#039;t expecting it though. We talked about it and thought it was cool that we%26#039;ve actually been married that long, but didn%26#039;t do anything special. I think after your married, you go by celebrating every year. Maybe just write her a nice letter telling her what these past 6 mo. have meant to you, or simply say%26quot;Happy 6 months honey, I love you.%26quot; She shouldn%26#039;t be expecting a present, if she is, she%26#039;s kinda high maintence. Congrats though, isn%26#039;t marriage grand?:)

What's the best way to dry flowers that were received as gift?

I%26#039;ve tried all sorts of things, and just can%26#039;t seem to make it work. Please help me preserve my anniversary bouquet. Thanks!

What%26#039;s the best way to dry flowers that were received as gift?
best is to just hand upside down in a dry area; all those drying agents don%26#039;t work any better and are a waste of money; I went to a place and she had all these bouquets hanging upside down in the back room ; people had paid her to dry out their bouquets and all she did was hang them up ; nice business; more ceiling room please
Reply:While there are many commercial products to dry flowers, I just hang them upside down until dry. This keeps the petals in place.

Some also use a dark closet to keep colors vibrant.
Reply:place the flowers between the pages of a heavy book about half way in and close book on them for several weeks , hope this helps ,
Reply:This works for roses for sure. I hang the boquet upside down. That way they driy in the position they are in. Do it before they are dead though. Once they are dry you can actually put the dried boquet in a vase and they will be perfectly preserved but very delicate. I dont know if this would work for more delicate flowers but for roses and flowers similar it works wonders.
Reply:hang them upside down before any wilting starts, I usually use floss or fishing line, tie em in a bundle and hang...
Reply:the expensive way is put them in a box of silica (it%26#039;s the stuff that comes in a little package in your shoes says do not eat) you can buy it, not that I know where, but I have seen it on crafting shows...it sucks moisture out of things..but personally i have done the hang it upside down thing as well, works for most flowers but you do have to do it while they are still strong and not wilted, so you really don%26#039;t get to enjoy them alive

What should I get my husband for our 12th Wedding anniversary???

I wanted to send him one of those baskets where they make the fruit look like flowers--but he only likes strawberries and pineapples.

He%26#039;s not a big sports fan either. So anything sports related is out.

Please help!

What should I get my husband for our 12th Wedding anniversary???
Here%26#039;s something creative that will be appreciated and you will have fun doing:

Make up a crossword puzzle and have all the hints be personal inside moments and jokes that only you two would know about. Put it on a poster board and add some clipart and some pictures to it!

The crossword puzzle could be time consuming and a bit frustrating ... you could do the same idea with a WORDSEARCH or WORDFIND puzzle.

Put your computer skills to work! Use Excel, get clipart from Yahoo Images Search, copy them, and reformat them, use a gluestick to put on posterboard.

Use graph paper, and pictures from magazines if you are not as good on the computer, and it will give it more of a homemade feeling.
Reply:JUST YOU.
Reply:Sometimes folks go to crazy with gifts for things. Try keeping it simple. How about a day walking in the park talking about the day and place you met. Then go for coffee somewhere romantic and hold hands. Me and my wife go back to the place wwe met and sit in the chairs and talk about the past. Man I am so lucky.
Reply:Quiet naked alone time with the wife.

That%26#039;s what I ask for for anniversaries, Christmas, birthdays, arbor days, groundhog days, Thursdays....

I%26#039;m actually not kidding, there is NOTHING a happily married man wants more than feeling his wife%26#039;s naked body pressed against his. You know what he likes, what turns him on, give it to him. If he gets really good wife sex, you could give him a tie and he will think it%26#039;s the best gift he ever got.

Ah, the simplicity of being a man!
Reply:u can gift him a nice suite or a nice perfume or a nice watch.
Reply:How bout something simple...like a nice dinner, dancing, and a hotel room that you have already decorated with roses and candles. A nice night out and away from the everyday stuff....maybe a day trip to a nice spa resort...
Reply:first of all, congrats on 12 years. i would do something creative. when he comes home from work, put a note in front of the door w/ a candle on it that says %26#039;follow the candles%26#039;. put 12 candles around leading to the bedroom. under each candle, write a memory u have from that specific year of marriage. ex: year 1 - we did __________ the first time, love u. .... all the way to year 11. put candle #12 in the bedroom and the note saying something like %26#039;cant wait to make a new memory etc%26quot; and b standing there waiting for him :o)

What should I get my wife for our 1st Wedding Anniversary?

I%26#039;ve already got the nice dinner set up, flowers etc. But what about the gift? I don%26#039;t want to buy something super nice because then I%26#039;ll have to start topping myself year after year.

Besides, we%26#039;re trying to save up to buy a house.

Any ideas would help....thanks

What should I get my wife for our 1st Wedding Anniversary?
Give her a nice picture of you both, in a frame that she can put on her night stand.( with hearts, I love you etc on it) and the day off ,no house work. If you have kids send them to the babysitter. And last but not least, flirt with her, make her fill needed and wanted.... a nice love letter from your heart..This will make her day!---- Good Luck....
Reply:You%26#039;re in luck because the traditional gift for a 1st anniversary is paper.

So a book, origami, handmade paper etc
Reply:A gift certificate for a day at the spa.

What would u expect from ur husband to ur first anniversary?

Do u think flowers r enough??

What would u expect from ur husband to ur first anniversary?
Flowers are fine. Spouses need to quit expecting things from the other spouse and in stead think to yourself %26quot;What can I do for my husband??%26quot; That helps keep selfishness out of your relationship.
Reply:Get her something that will last..Jewelery , painting , knock her up.
Reply:there%26#039;s too much pressure and too many expectations on gifts. you should plan something romantic together - an outing that doesn%26#039;t include gifts.
Reply:Well since my husband is in Iraq for our First Anniversary I would be happy with anything. It%26#039;s the thought that counts not the gift.
Reply:My co-worker just had her first anniversary, and her husband completely forgot it, and didn%26#039;t get her anything. Hahaha. I think she may have reminded him, but he still didn%26#039;t get her anything.

So when you think of all the guys out there like that...you should be happy with flowers! :-P

I think something special and romantic is in order, but it just depends on the guy. Don%26#039;t get upset because you didn%26#039;t get %26quot;enough%26quot;...just focus on how happy he makes you feel every other day.
Reply:Well, lets look at it this way. My first anniversery is next week with my husband. We%26#039;re going to the spa for a nice day of massages and relaxation. But we%26#039;re both paying for it. It%26#039;s HIS anniversery too! You both decided to get married so you should both get anniversery presents. It%26#039;s called marriage equality.
Reply:What should a husband expect on his first anniversary? It has always amazed me that anniversary%26#039;s are only major events for the wife.

Flowers are always good to receive, Why not plan a very surprise evening, just let your imagination work for you...

Maybe start with a little note with a poem example, A special day will soon be here and I am thinking of what you should wear,

then maybe give him a new cologne, or a pair of skimpy briefs.

Also a note that says Our anniversary is here, and I love you with all my heart, and here%26#039;s a little something to give our special day a great start, gift idea could be a nice bottle of scented bubble, another idea gift is a bottle of wine with a poem. You just may get more the flowers. I did this for an anniversary, started the notes a gifts about three days before. it was the best anniversary ever!
Reply:i would expect a weekend away at a nice lodge or soemthing
Reply:I have had my eye on a beautiful pearl %26amp; diamond ring. That is what I would want. And you should get more than flowers. Think jewelry, perfume, etc.
Reply:Well, I know the first year is supposed to be paper (like 25th is silver, and 50th is golden). So for my first anniversary, I wrote my husband a really nice love poem and put it on really nice paper, then framed it.
Reply:my 1 year aniversary is next month, i was thinking of getting my wife a VW Passat filled with roses
Reply:I think what ever he is able to give you, but the both of you should plan what you%26#039;d like to do. The majority of the time it is what ever is special because most newly weds don%26#039;t have a lot of money. So the both of you be creative and plan to do what you can afford. The flowers are good as an early day present.
Reply:Well it depends on the money situation that you are in, but I think flowers are a good start. Did he take you out to dinner too? Because that would be nice. But it shouldn%26#039;t matter what the gift is; the only thing that should matter is that you both love each other.

I want to give my wife something nice for our anniversary, and send it to her office, and I want something different this year.

any ideas?

What are some alternatives to giving flowers for holidays?
Fancy chocolate candy.
Reply:Gift vouchers or jewellry or an IOU for a backrub and some hot loving. ; )
Reply:fruit bouquets are cool. I give them as thank you presents every so often.
Reply:Spose it depends on how old you are and how much money you have.....sending a box of pearls to her with a card delivered by a carrier would be special.
Reply:gift certificate to an all day pampering at a spa
Reply:jewelry is never a bad idea!
Reply:Go to 1800flowers.com and send her the %26quot;blooming love bundle%26quot;. It is a dozen long stem red roses in a red vase, and a teddy bear, and a box of chocolates. Cant beat it!

What are some good gift ideas for a one-year anniversary?

Other than a card, flowers and a box of chocolate

What are some good gift ideas for a one-year anniversary?
For a guy, a nice watch is a great gift. You can have it engraved. For a woman, a nice necklace is great, or a bracelet, or earrings. If you don%26#039;t have much ca$h to spend, write a heartfelt card or letter to him or her, about how this past year has changed your life. I also like homemade CD%26#039;s.
Reply:If the gift is for a woman, Try cooking a romantic candle lit dinner of two, get a dozen red roses (if you don%26#039;t have much cash get them at wal-mart they are about 12 bucks WITH tax)... then well let your imagination go from there...

Reply:Anniversary of what? If it%26#039;s marriage, then it would be %26#039;paper%26#039; or %26#039;clocks%26#039; (paper is old, clocks are the new).

It really depends on the relationship. What kinds of things have you gotten her in the past? Jewelry is always nice, and it doesn%26#039;t have to be outrageous either - principally, it%26#039;s the thought that counts.

For instance, on my year anniversary I hand made a plaque (paper insert) for completing one year of marriage (with cutesy inside stuff, of course) and a gift card to a massage at the same place where we got married.

The more intimate, the better it is.

What could I get my wife for our 20th wedding anniversary for under $150?

WE have 2 teenagers at home and things a little tight! We%26#039;re both 49 yrs.old and got most everything we need, she doesn%26#039;t wear much jelery and don%26#039;t like flowers for gifts,she%26#039;s not into electronics and we have 3 computers that we have to work with, so u see why I%26#039;m having a hard time!!! She is a school teacher.

What could I get my wife for our 20th wedding anniversary for under $150?
First off,Best wishes on your 20th year, how great to see this in theses days! I would think that your wife being a school teacher and all could be a stressful job at times,so she needs relaxation. With the budget that you have to work with,i think it would be appropriate for a day at the spa for a massage and the works,i think it runs between $80.00 to $100.00,she will feel so rejuvenated,or even a day of the hair salon and nails and a pedicure.Since she doesn%26#039;t seem to like flowers and you have the most that you both want,i feel this would be very special, and then maybe to dinner in the evening to top it off!Hope this helps you on ideals, and again best wishes to you both!
Reply:I think going to the spa or taking her to see something she likes or even taking her to see a movie and dinner that she likes would be nice. Or how about you buy her a designer bag or a leather bag thatis not designer she can put her all her school papers.
Reply:Take her out on a date...like a picnic or something. Or a fair/canrival/rent a small boat for the day/go to the park/tell her you love her! Or enroll in a one day dance class and learn to tango or something. Make it fun.
Reply:How about a night at a nice hotel, without the kids? Get a room with a whirlpool, and bring a picnic dinner (or go to a nice restaurant - if you want to go a little higher than$150.) Is there a resort area near where you live? I would love something like that!
Reply:Take her to a B%26amp;B. You both need the get away from the teenagers. I think she will appreciate the experience, and the relaxation.
Reply:U cheap
Reply:a bible
Reply:how about sending the teenagers out for the evening and make dinner for your wife and [i don%26#039;t mean frozen food]get a cook book and try a recipe out.then after dinner play some music [buy a new c.d]and follow that by a bubble bath for 2
Reply:You could take her dancing or prepare dinner for her or make a scrapbook of all the years you%26#039;ve been married. You can also have a very romantic night. Or set up a spa day for both of you.

Have Fun and Congradulations.

A very nice hotel with a tub for 2. Romantic candle lit dinner. A drive in the country with a picnic lunch. There is just so much you can do....
Reply:If you have the means, take her away for a romantic weekend and spoil her senseless. Take her to a spa and let her get the full treatment. Then a romantic evening of dinner and dancing, followed by a good wine, candlelight and the 2 of you cuddled up together. Congrats and best of wishes!

Midnight ride through the park on a Taco shaped carriage .
Reply:What about Diamonds like ear rings or a neclace. I know its your steel Anniversary, but Diamonds are what a woman enjoys the most in getting. Whatever the occasion.
Reply:Well you know your wife best, but I would say do something wild and crazy...go somewhere and dance, do it with good friends, or yes, a nice dinner boat cruise with dancing is a terrific idea, been there done that and again it%26#039;s nice to do with some close friends too, and not as pricey as you would think. I guess it depends on what%26#039;s available to you...women love things like plays etc., something you rarely get to experience. Any great concerts? Go to a nice bar afterwards and have some fun. Lots of things you can do but really just put on your charm and your fun side and pull out the romantic stops if you can (have a flower bought to dinner, have a musician come to play at the table, tell the band to play a special song for you...) whatever resources are available to you! ;~)

Need some ideas to celebrate our 4th year wedding anniversary?

Something that can be done after working hours as we are both working that day. Also, other than flowers and Teddy Bears what other great things can I send to her workplace?

Need some ideas to celebrate our 4th year wedding anniversary?
The idea of sending her some flowers to her work is always a good one. But add to it. Send a basket that has bubble bath, candles, massage oil..things like that. When she gets home from work, take her out to some fancy resturant and then when you get back home, use that basket of goodies! Fill up the tub with bubbles, lite some candles and give her a massgage. Don%26#039;t forget to make sure there are a couple of glasses of champange in the bathroom as well. Have a great anniversary!!!
Reply:Your welcome. Have fun!! Report It

Reply:You could send her a balloon with bath salts or bath gels attached. Then after work you could go to dinner, a comedy club or sporting event then.....when you get home let her take a long relaxing hot bath with her favorite bath gels... Have a Great Anniversary!!
Reply:you can find a great spa place that u both can go together...have a nice retreat....and may be stay for a night a hotel...or something

or how about dinner on a 3 hour cruise with some live music and nyc skyline gazing at you together...they even have special tables reserved where you can have a package w/ chocolates and roses..........

for her office......if she loves flowers send them again....

or a pic of you and her in a nice frame from hallmark.

Is this a romantic enough gift for our 25th anniversary?

I want to get a hooker to join my wife and me, but keep it a secret from my wife so she will be surprised. My wife%26#039;s never been with another girl that I know of, so I thouhgt it would be special. I figure if I skip the usual dinner, flowers an jewlery, that would save me some money to make sure we get a good one.

Is this a romantic enough gift for our 25th anniversary?
hahaha....that%26#039;s rich! hahahahaha......too funny! and if you%26#039;re serious, that%26#039;s even better.

What could my husband do for our one year anniversary?

He wants some idea%26#039;s because he told me he was going to get a hotel and then he would probably get some flowers for me and even chocolates, romance isn%26#039;t really his thing.

What could my husband do for our one year anniversary?
The one year anniversary is traditionally Paper and the more modern symbolic gift is a clock. I think the clock is insult. As if to say, i%26#039;m just watching time go by now that we%26#039;re married, anticipating the embrace of the grave. I think the physical challenge is a more meaningful gift. If your husband is not yet a bald man perhaps he can get the phrase %26quot;one year%26quot; shaved into his head in tribute. Or perhaps growing a long beard signifying the roman numeral one. These are highly romantic gestures but not to american unsophisticated sensibilities. maybe he should just get you a clock. or an action park to visit? helicopter lessons? i hope i have been assistance.
Reply:Tell him to do a web search, it won%26#039;t be that romantic if you have to tell him what to do, and there are a lot of good websites!
Reply:He has to plan a surprise. Give him a list of 20, from dinner at a fench restaurant, to a Broadwya show. Amybe even a ride on the Staen Island ferry fol.owed by a dinner in Chinatown, or maybe a visit to the zoo....thing You like.
Reply:Have him recreate a moment from your honeymoon. A particular place or something you did together. Congrats on the 1st anniversary. May you have many more!!
Reply:He could take some vacation time off from work and take you on a %26quot;honeymoon%26quot; vacation. I would say let him surprise you with the destination, but if he%26#039;s not too hip about romantic things maybe you ought to help him out with a couple of hints. :o)
Reply:Cruise to the carribbean!
Reply:What ever he decides to do should be good enogh as long as it comes from his heart
Reply:Unless you make some input, it could be hotel shagging.
Reply:Honey if you want a hotel go for it once you have kids you will never get a quiet moment. Or he could try a bed and breakfast those are nice. Just be sure it is something you will always remember. I%26#039;m not sure where you live but cabins are nice with the hot tubs and some of them can be very nice and not to expensive. Hope you both have a wonderful anniversary with many more to come.
Reply:um - why is this only about HIM doing something for the anniversary, you spoiled twat?
Reply:go out to dinner and dancing.or horse back riding.
Reply:A simle dinner, like beside a beach.. most people during annivesaries go out to a fancy restaurant but, try somewhere quite and wind blows in your ears like the beach or in a resort, stay for a whole weekend.

What to get my girlfriend for a 1 year anniversary?!?

Man, I%26#039;ve been dating this lady friend of mine for a year, we%26#039;re both seniors in highschool. And she%26#039;s always talking about a promise ring, which is fine, I think it%26#039;s cute, but the problem is... The price tag is normally a big, hairy, scary, slimey monster. I work, I rake in about 300 every two weeks, and I spend money on her ($80 after my ski trip last week, to give you guys some sort of figure, and more where that came from). I%26#039;m running out of poetry to right, I%26#039;ve done flowers and a card before (even a bouquet of chocolate strawberrys), I%26#039;ve made her food too, all the cheap, easy stuff that%26#039;s thoughtful. And this is the worst part, she gave up spending money for lent, what the heck is that, y%26#039;know? I think I gotta hold off on the ring... but she%26#039;s been asking. What do you Dr. Phils/Phillis%26#039; think? She never really spent much money on me, and she makes BANK babysitting. Yeahhhhh, I%26#039;m about to say hell no.

*Whip lash* OUCH!

HELP PLEASE!!!

What to get my girlfriend for a 1 year anniversary?!?
A good idea for someone wanting to buy jewelry without spending hundreds is to go antique. You can search eBay for gorgeous antiques such as cocktail rings, earrings bracelets.... and can usually find things at an affordable price. Some good brands to try are Weiss and Kramer. I bought beautiful Weiss earrings for $6.99 yesterday. Also, since these items are antiques no one will have them so this is a very original gift. If the girl is awesome, she will be surprised and love it. If not, get rid of her.

Ladies......whats a good idea for a 4 year anniversary gift?

for me to buy my girlfriend. its 4 years since our first date (it was a blind date). i need help thinking of a unique and meaningful gift. i am very bad at shopping and thinking of gifts for women, and i dont want to just give her flowers or a gift certificate or something like that.I%26#039;m already taking her out for dinner (back to the same spot as our first date) but i want to give her a gift too, whats some ideas of romantic gifts that you ladies would like if your man was gonna buy you an aniversary gift? ps: i,m not afraid to spend money.

Ladies......whats a good idea for a 4 year anniversary gift?
Do something from your heart. Are you at all a writer? Write her a poem, or a love note. How about a love note for each year you%26#039;ve been together and you can give her one when you start your date, one part way through dinner, one before dessert and one at the end of the date? Make each love note reminiscent of the fun times you have had in years one, two, three and four. At four years and still only a girlfriend, it might be time to be thinking engagement ring if you%26#039;re ready. :) How about a unique photo album you have put together of photos of the two of you- you can do that at shutterfly.com and add your own notations. How about a charm bracelet with charms on it that are significant of the times you%26#039;ve had fun or places you%26#039;ve been together? I could go on and on... :)
Reply:A diamond or two
Reply:you should get her a diamond ring for $124 or get her a silver bracelet for $54. ($124 at kays jewlry) ($54 at walmart)
Reply:you should an amazing night, exquisite dinner, nice soothing desert, dance to mood music, with a waiter, and a dish washer so you can continue a nice night in bed. Then shell thank you. Also get her a nice peice of jewelry.
Reply:i think you should try to get her a purse. girls love that. I got my girlfriend a Coach purse from http://www.doiop.com/purse which normally costs like a lot for much much cheaper. she fell in love with it.
Reply:I love to get gifts from my DH that I know he has put thought into. The big question would be what does she like? If you know her favorites it makes it easier to get something special. What about concert tickets to see someone she loves but has never seen? Or tickets to a show on Broadway. A gift that you can wrap up is great, but something that makes lifetime memories is priceless!
Reply:Jewelry is always good!!! Maybe some type of pendant with a heart and diamonds or red rubies.
Reply:If you want it to be meaningful maybe a ring with an enscription. It doesn%26#039;t have to be an engagement right or anything. Even a neclace. You can say anything you want or just put the date of your anniversary. I think that would be very special.

Or you could do something cute from a picture of both of you. For example you can blow it up and get it printed in black and white. Then add red (color of love) to some of the areas. Put a pretty frame around it and write something special on the back.
Reply:recreate your very first date.....
Reply:a ninja
Reply:well what i would like is a new car but that is just me maybe just spend time with her and treat her like a queen girls love that that kind of stuff
Reply:I have a couple of answers. But I think you should include a card that says something like %26quot;Meeting you was one of the best things I%26#039;ve ever done...%26quot; or some kind of thing like that or like a poem. You may think it%26#039;s totally corny but some girls think that%26#039;s really sweet and totally thoughtful.

For the present:

I have a couple of ways you can go:

Shiny- A heart locket with a picture of you and her or her name ingraved or something along that line!

If she has a favorite band buy you and her tix

Or... if she has a place that%26#039;s really special to her take her there for a romantic picnic! That would be so cute!

I hope it works out!

Good luck!

-Micah
Reply:You should give her something special...like a promise ring. Pick the stone that represents this month and make sure you tell her that when you give it to her. Then, give her some of her favorite flowers...in the bouquet let one of them be silk...and tell her you will love her until the last flower dies. I%26#039;ve always wanted some guy to do that for me... :)
Reply:take her to the first place you guys went on a date and make it all special, buy her a beautiful meaningful piece of jewelry like a promise ring or something like that. Have a hotel room ready and waiting for you guys and put rose petals everywhere light some candles. Be romantic, trust me we don%26#039;t find it cheesy.
Reply:go diamonds...u can never go wrong with that
Reply:Since u said money is not a problem, you should plan a romantic getaway to somewhere like Hawii or even Europe. You can present her with the place ticket or something. My boyfriend did that and I thought it was so throughtful of him. Another thing you can do is get her Tiffany jewelry, like a little heart charm necklace. On top of those things i think you should still give her a bouquet of flowers, like when u go pick her up or something.

What can I send my husband to his job for our 6th anniversary?

I haven%26#039;t sent flowers although I am considering it I have sent him an edible arrangement ( http://www.ediblearrangements.com/ ) but I did not want to send that again. I just did not think flowers were appropriate for a man. Please help with suggestions.

What can I send my husband to his job for our 6th anniversary?
Just a word of advice that most men do not like things sent to their work places -- often times they will be made fun of for it.

If you must send something, choose donuts or cookies. Flowers are a huge no.

Preferrably, just have something waiting for him when he gets home. He%26#039;ll appreciate that best.
Reply:If you send anything, it should be a plant for his desk; not a flowering one, but a healthy green plant. Otherwise, don%26#039;t embarrass him by sending edible cookies, or other such nonsense to his place of work. He%26#039;s a man, not your little boy.
Reply:send a heart shaped pizza... I know Bearnos does these sometimes... if there is one in your area
Reply:flowers might make a guy feel %26quot;whipped%26quot; in front of his buddys at work. if you wanna send him something that will excite his senses AND he%26#039;ll feel proud to show off to his friends...send him a small package with sexy lingerie or just panties for him to see you wear later
Reply:Is there any business near you that sells cookie bouquets? They%26#039;re fun and different than the edible arrangements.

Happy Anniversary!
Reply:I should send him a plant, for example a Croton in a basket.

What ideas can I get for my 1st anniversary in a few weeks. She just bless me w/ our 1st child this week.?

This week was special because my wife blessed us with the birth of our 1st child, our son. She is really great with him %26amp; with me. We have always been romantic with each other. We have had plenty of surprises for each other, large %26amp; small, trips to jewlery to engravings to cards, etc. etc.

My only problem is that I really want to go over the top %26amp; I don%26#039;t know what to do/get. Flowers are typical %26amp; expected. Same for jewelry %26amp; cards.

I need a few unique ideas.

What ideas can I get for my 1st anniversary in a few weeks. She just bless me w/ our 1st child this week.?
get her a ring or piece of jewelry with the baby%26#039;s birth stone or all of your birth stones in it
Reply:Well, you%26#039;re going to have to be creative here, because she%26#039;s not going to be ready to leave the baby with anyone, and she may physically not be up to a %26quot;big%26quot; night out.

From a mom, probably the best thing you can do for her that day is fix (or arrange to have fixed) a nice meal for her. Fix it, clean it up, etc., make it so she doesn%26#039;t HAVE to lift a finger here. Paper is a traditional first anniversary gift, so I%26#039;d suggest a gift certificate to a day spa, for as many services as you can afford. Massage would be at the top of my list, followed by manicure, pedicure, facial, etc. Trust me, after giving birth, and dealing with the 9months of pregnancy before that, a day of pampering is probably JUST what the doctor ordered for her!

Congrats on the birth of your son, and on your first anniversary. May you be blessed with many more (children and anniversaries!)
Reply:whats the budget dude?

OK, the spa thing is way overdone. What you need to achieve is to show her the following:

-your love

-her new role as a mother

-that she is a beautiful woman

So, what I would expect a guy to do for me, that would be ultimately romantic is to:

-buy her and the baby gorgeous outfits, get your picture taken, etc.

-then go for a romantic walk, and in this area - or your backyard if its warm enough, fill the trees with lights. Under these trees, give her a family ring

-fill your house with flowers - lots of them, and candles

-make her a romantic dinner, and see if you can get a small band to come and play some classical music to serenade her, slow dance

-get a cake made by the best pastry chef in town

-surprise her all day with gifts and tons of compliments

what do u think?
Reply:I remember that first week. Your on pins and needles because every sound the baby makes is new and you are so wrapped up in the child you now know who has the power. Its a little early to be going out but get a mom to babysit for a couple of hours and go to dinner and enjoy yourselves. The only thing your wife wants is a good night sleep. Give her some flowers and an I.O.U. for a night out later Just enjoy the new all powerful child.
Reply:Maybe a day with just the two of you. A break from the baby would be a gift in itself.
Reply:A few hours at a Day Spa with and having someone else coming in to take care of the baby.
Reply:Buy her a gift certificate for a manicure/pedicure or for a massage. As a new mom she may feel less than glamorous and she could use them when she feels like she needs to. Just remind her that she is beautiful to you no matter what. A hand written note telling her how much you love her and the ability to spend time for herself will be one of the greatest gifts you can give her.

As a girl, what to do for a guy on 2 month anniversary...?

i don%26#039;t mean anything sexual ~ i mean...do i give him a present? haha, idk??? he got me flowers, so i feel like i should give him something, but i dont think he would like flowers :P any ideas? food maybe?

As a girl, what to do for a guy on 2 month anniversary...?
food always works or maybe do something that you know he likes that he would normally think you would not take him to idk food is always safe though
Reply:first of all celebrating every month is gonna get old for your guy sooner or later, but if you have to buy him something, i would maybe recommend cologne or a nice shirt, i personally don%26#039;t like when a girl takes me out to eat, i feel bad that she has to pay and i feel like people are watching me letting her pay, idk just feels weird to me, he might be different, but i think if u stick with cologne you couldnt go wrong
Reply:cook him a really good dinner...thats sweet, thoughtful, and we all know guys like their food!
Reply:Take him to dinner or a movie but quiet as it%26#039;s kept, men do like flowers!
Reply:If you mean you%26#039;ve been dating for two months, uhhhh....you don%26#039;t do anything. It%26#039;s two months, who cares?! I could see maybe doing something for the one-year anniversary, but two months? What, are you going to do something for two months, three months, four months...every month you date? You sound a little immature.
Reply:The root word of anniversary=annual. Annual is every year. This two month, three month, six month thing is stupid.
Reply:Give him a card.
Reply:I don%26#039;t think you should really celebrate a 2 month %26quot;anniversary%26quot;. If you wait to celebrate until your actual anniversary (after 1 year together) it will seem that much more special. It%26#039;s nice that he gave you flowers it shows he cares about you but don%26#039;t feel like you have to give him something just because he gave you flowers. If you really care about the guy you could do little things for him at another time when he%26#039;s not expecting it, like bake him cookies, make him dinner or buy him his favorite beer. ha ha.
Reply:Teach him that the word anniversary means yearly, not monthly.
Reply:No i think to many people make a big deal out of things like that it hasn%26#039;t been a year so why you celebrating...Sure you want to celebrate everything when you first go out but the first present should be either your first valentines day together as a couple your first christmas or thanks giving if your from United states or your first year aniversary or your each others birthday%26#039;s in the first year anything else under a year and i would not bother....It%26#039;s kiddies games and being in a relationship is showing your mature so act like it if you like make him dinner but that%26#039;s as far as i would go....
Reply:Two months? Is that the time frame they use to measure relationships these days?
Reply:Try to find something can let him think of you always. Thats the best way!! gaga:)
Reply:just slap em

What should I get hubby for 9th anniversary?

He loves the computer, Internet, he builds websites and he loves the Bible. I want this to be fairly inexpensive. NO flowers or candy. Just something unique... Help, I am outta ideas here. Thanks!

What should I get hubby for 9th anniversary?
well the traditional gift is pottery or willow for the 9th anniversary, but the contemporary gift is leather. maybe a leather desk set for his computer and stuff. pottery stuff doesnt seem to manly. or maybe go off that and get a gps thing (my hubbys been dying for one) or something electronic.

What could i do for a 3rd anniversary?

On the 30 of july i will be with my boyfriend for 3 years. He is always buying me flowers and surprising me with gifts. So i would love to do something special to show him how much i love him and appreciate him. All suggestions are welcome.

Thank you.

What could i do for a 3rd anniversary?
Lilstuff456 why don%26#039;t you write him a nice personal poem. In it you could express how your relationship has grown, how grateful you are to be sharing your live with him and some past experiences that you have shared together. Write it in your own handwriting and then go and get it framed. I believe that this personalized present will mean more to him than if you%26#039;d have spend a million bucks on him. Happy Anniversary and good luck.
