What would u expect from ur husband to ur first anniversary?
Flowers are fine. Spouses need to quit expecting things from the other spouse and in stead think to yourself %26quot;What can I do for my husband??%26quot; That helps keep selfishness out of your relationship.
Reply:Get her something that will last..Jewelery , painting , knock her up.
Reply:there%26#039;s too much pressure and too many expectations on gifts. you should plan something romantic together - an outing that doesn%26#039;t include gifts.
Reply:Well since my husband is in Iraq for our First Anniversary I would be happy with anything. It%26#039;s the thought that counts not the gift.
Reply:My co-worker just had her first anniversary, and her husband completely forgot it, and didn%26#039;t get her anything. Hahaha. I think she may have reminded him, but he still didn%26#039;t get her anything.





So when you think of all the guys out there like that...you should be happy with flowers! :-P





I think something special and romantic is in order, but it just depends on the guy. Don%26#039;t get upset because you didn%26#039;t get %26quot;enough%26quot;...just focus on how happy he makes you feel every other day.
Reply:Well, lets look at it this way. My first anniversery is next week with my husband. We%26#039;re going to the spa for a nice day of massages and relaxation. But we%26#039;re both paying for it. It%26#039;s HIS anniversery too! You both decided to get married so you should both get anniversery presents. It%26#039;s called marriage equality.
Reply:What should a husband expect on his first anniversary? It has always amazed me that anniversary%26#039;s are only major events for the wife.


Flowers are always good to receive, Why not plan a very surprise evening, just let your imagination work for you...





Maybe start with a little note with a poem example, A special day will soon be here and I am thinking of what you should wear,


then maybe give him a new cologne, or a pair of skimpy briefs.


Also a note that says Our anniversary is here, and I love you with all my heart, and here%26#039;s a little something to give our special day a great start, gift idea could be a nice bottle of scented bubble, another idea gift is a bottle of wine with a poem. You just may get more the flowers. I did this for an anniversary, started the notes a gifts about three days before. it was the best anniversary ever!

Reply:I have had my eye on a beautiful pearl %26amp; diamond ring. That is what I would want. And you should get more than flowers. Think jewelry, perfume, etc.
Reply:Well, I know the first year is supposed to be paper (like 25th is silver, and 50th is golden). So for my first anniversary, I wrote my husband a really nice love poem and put it on really nice paper, then framed it.

Reply:I think what ever he is able to give you, but the both of you should plan what you%26#039;d like to do. The majority of the time it is what ever is special because most newly weds don%26#039;t have a lot of money. So the both of you be creative and plan to do what you can afford. The flowers are good as an early day present.
Reply:Well it depends on the money situation that you are in, but I think flowers are a good start. Did he take you out to dinner too? Because that would be nice. But it shouldn%26#039;t matter what the gift is; the only thing that should matter is that you both love each other.
